Great Pictures of the progress going on in the area with gas drilling. I feel this is our generations economic boom as it was for our grandparents with the logging boom in the area,but as with the logging i feel drilling will also have its disasters along with its rewards.

Great pictures of "Marcellus, the beginning of the story..." . This has the earmarks of something that will develop into an historical industrial record that is definitely worth preserving! I hope you stick w/the pictorial references as they develop, and are able to include the towns that are affected by all this. I expect to see the boarded-up and empty storefronts disappear, as well as empty business parking lots and warehouses/storage and office facilities fill up! New construction and other signs of growing tax bases in these towns will be a part of the Marcellus story too. Such contrasts (boom, bust ...) have been a part of our lives in this region for many years. Continue to keep track as the decades of prosperity unfold. Be sure to include the "now" pics so we can truly appreciate the progress we make.
