I shoved my bear cannister under that car sized rock in photo left.
...and the gear mess went into the pack or tent.
Even the toothbrush & cookpot was safely esconsed within the cannister.
A bear was not able to open the cannister unless it had a coin or screwdriver. So any loose change was in my pocket.
