We reached Brisbane on the 28 Oct and rented a local Australian Holden @ the Brisbane Intl. Airport. I still remember the weather was good and the sun was blazing. The sky was unbelievingly blue and clear. Our first stop was the Surfers Paradise and we spent some time touring the little town as well. @ around 230pm, we started to move further North to Bundaberg which is approximately 5 hrs drive from the Surfers Paradise. Actually it took us much longer than that ... ~ 7.5hrs ... haha ... We reached a nice small town - Bargara @ around 10pm, and stayed in the Pacific Sun Motor Inn - Very nice cozy place!

So Why are we @ Bargara and Bundaberg ?? Bargara and Bundaberg are known as the "Gateway to the Great Barrier Reef", and for good reasons. You have the choice of two nearby fantastic coral islands to explore, Lady Musgrave Island (accessible on the MV Lady Musgrave and aircraft) and Lady Elliott Island (accessible by aircraft). Both offer superb snorkeling and Diving, Lady Elliott rarely dropping below 25m visibility. See to believe the superb sceneriesssss :)

On the 31 Oct, we flew by domestic flight from Brisbane to Adelaide ... the first thing I noticed was that there were lots of "FLIES"!! Really irritating FLIES! Anyway, Let's ignore flies for the moment, Adelaide is a very nice colorful city, the road system is neat and easy to drive around too! However, we've only managed to visit the Mt. Lofty Summit, Cleland Wildlife Park (being able to held an 8kg cute Koala), Port Adelaide and a good dinner with nice sweet wine and pastas.

The very next morning, we woke up at around 6+am *yawn* and began our journey to Cape Jervis where we could take a 45mins cruise to the Kangaroo Island.

Kangaroo Island is one of Australia's great scenic treasures and a must for anyone interested in travel to wilderness destinations. Located 110 km (70 miles) south-west of Adelaide and easily accessible by Ferry or Plane. A mix of attractive small townships and fascinating wilderness; Kangaroo Island is Australia's third largest island. By the way, you will be amazed that there are a Seal Bay and a little Sahara too! Interesting :)

Now after hearing so many nice things about the trip, here's the thing, after spending a day driving in Kanagaroo Island, the car seemed a little out of control and therefore we've gotta drove all the way back to Adelaide airport and exchange a new car ... so we kind of wasted 4 hrs to and fro, instead of moving on to the GREAT OCEAN ROAD...

From Adelaide to GREAT OCEAN ROAD took us approximately 2 days of driving, eating and resting ... been through many "Crosswind Roads" ... To Be Continued ...
