Vava'u Lahi

The main island of the Vava'u Group is Vava'u Lahi, where we spent the remainder of our time in the Vava'u Group. This gallery contains pictures from the main island and its surrounding waters. We stayed most of the time at the Hakula Lodge, owned by Jeff and Janine Lestrange, and went out several times on their whale-watching boat, Maris King. Great pics. I also used to live in Vava'u, while working for Peace Corps, and miss the lazy beaches, lazy lifestyle, and puaka tuna!! Oh man, do I miss some spit roasted piglets!! Ifo puaka!
