Midway Food

Duncan

This weekend there was the midway rolled into town and Grace and I went to check things out. I must admit I am not a fan of the Midway, it usually feels like I have just thrown away a bunch of money. This time though, I had fun shooting bits and pieces of the event. This picture has been run through photoshop. First, with anything done, always always make a duplicate layer. I then ran this picture through a ps plugin called "virtual photographer". It gave it an old vintagey feeling. Then I put a texture (free from texture king.com) over it using the luminosity mode and adjusted the opacity. Hopefully this looks like it was rescued from an old shoebox;)

I don't know what the original looked like, but it looks very authentic this way and full of "memento feelings". Very nice work.

Vanessa, I like what you've done with this photo. It does look 'vintage' and brings back memories of the carnival. DonnaE
