Lightening the eyes to make them stand out a little would have greatly improved the image.

What a great and comical capture! I agree, shallower dof would have been nice to have blurred out the background somewhat. Perhaps some cloning to rid the over exposed lama in the background would work well?

Delightfully in-your-face and relatively sharp. A shallower DOF would have been preferable, though, especially to keep the eye from being drawn to the overexposed white llama or alpaca in the background.
