I have to agree with the comments John. Increasing canvas size at the top and cloning out the white wouild have made it pop more.

This image fits in the Photojournalism, PJ often fails technical merit, but conveys the feelings, in this case "Friendship" JV

Great expressions.
Too tightly cropped and the white lines spoil the image.

Wonderful capture of a precious moment, excellent sharpness, but a shallower DOF would have kept the eye from being drawn to the lady in the back.
