It was taken in Chemainus. There is a small siding behind the gas station
where it waits for the Dayliner.

What a great shot, a real eye catcher, looks like the train is sitting in someones back yard, no track - nothing!

Hi Jean,
Very nice photo, the contrast of all the shades of green with the vivid colors of the engine really pops!!
Is this taken at the Y on the old Crofton spur near Westholme road?
Well done.......Norm

Hi again Jean,
What a difference getting rid of the clutter at the back of the train has made! The green shrubbery behind the train appears to give more depth of field, as well as appearing to give the train more length itself. Well done!

Hi Jean,
Lovely crisp, well composed and exposed shot! I do agree with JV though, in that I too would clone out the person and clutter at the back of the train. I might even have chose to just do a close crop behind the train instead.

Beautiful shot Jean, are you switching to Pentax? Very sharp and clear. Nancy
