It is always nice, when enjoying your lunch, to catch a glimpse of the whales
feeding, playing, or just passing by. Seen here from the Qualicum Beach area,
half way to the mainland, feeding. A long shot but still exciting. This was a Humpback whale
making a dive. Today, this whale made several dives of five minutes or more while feeding.
