A PAIR

YOU KNOW SPRING IS NEAR WHEN YOU NOTICE BIRDS PAIRING UP!

NOTE; It was -4C (8:30am) and that much colder due to the windchill. This pair of Robins huddled close to the Cedar tree in order to hide from the wind and soak up as much possible heat from the morning sunshine.

Due to the depth of color ect, I believe these two may be males, but I have noticed a few other bird species beginning to pair up, and this is the only pair I have been able to actually capture! lol

Rich, vibrant colours, and wonderful textures and lines, two nicely posing birds (both sharp and both with a light in their eye). Great capture!

Nice image. It does give one the feeling of spring. Tack sharp and nicely composed. The shadow in the upper left corner adds a lot. Thanks for posting it. - Ed Maxfield

All fluffed up in an attempt to keep warm. Beautifully composed.
