At first glance, it isn't much to look at. But then one notices the tire treads with fingers of ice in a symmetric semicircle, then the copse of trees in the back in a soft curve, then the arcing road going past the trees. Then there's the asymmetric perimeters of the photo itself. And suddenly, the whole thing comes together and it appeals. You have an excellent eye for what makes the humdrum unusual, with a little help from Photoshop and a good camera angle.
