For this competition, CAPA defines Fine Art Photography as
being “created in accordance with the vision of the artist as
a photographer and using photography as a medium to bring
something to life that only lives in the artist's mind.
In creating fine art photography, the photographer uses subjects
and techniques as vehicles in the process of conveying a strong
message, idea, a message, vision and/or emotion.
All images in this gallery were submitted to the CVCC for
pre-judging. The top six images were then submitted to the
sponsoring organization for their consideration.
The first six images in this gallery are those chosen for
submission to the competition. Posted points were assigned by
the sponsoring organization’s judges.
The remaining images in the gallery are those that were submitted
for the preliminary judging, but not selected for the final round.
