Artistic Images

CAPA 2023 Artistic Competition This competition promotes the manipulation of photograph(s) in both in-camera and post processing for artistic purposes to create a fictional or conceptual image or photographic art. Images should fit into one of these four categories: Abstract, Altered Reality, Creative or Smartphone. Any subject or topic is acceptable in this competition provided that the original captured image is the work of the photographer. All images in this gallery were submitted to the CVCC for pre-judging. The top six images were then submitted to the sponsoring organization for their consideration. The first six images in this gallery are those chosen for submission to the competition. Posted points were assigned by the sponsoring organization’s judges. The remaining images in the gallery are those that were submitted for the preliminary judging, but not selected for the final round.
