Thanks for the additional comments :-) As I explained below; the blue lights were put in there by the artist Cat. Kind of strange if you ask me, but apparently that's the way he wanted them to be seen. ~Brent

Very nice angle and DOF. Not sure what that short blue line by the stem, in between the joints of two plate is. I just feel it does not belong there. -Cat

Thanks Sharon, Debi, and Kurt :-) The waves are an art installation placed next to the fish ladder at the Ballard Locks (which last I heard was the #2 tourist destination in Seattle). See below a quick shot of them as a whole during a rare moment when people weren't visible milling about them. It was frustrating seeing how people seemed to think they were proper playground items for their kids to climb on! The artist put blue LED lights inside of the seems on just some of them Sharon, I'm not really sure why. Thanks for the comments! ~Brent

Wow, Brent, I like this a lot! The shapes are fabulous and you have photographed them well with just the right amount of DOF. What is the bit of intense blue peeking out of the left seam? Can you tell us anything about this sculpture? ~Sharon
