*grin* I like my borders. If you don't stop, Rod, I'll put another pink girlie border in again. ~Lydia

Penny started me off Lydia:-) Anyhow Lydia doesn't mind a bit of argy bargy......I think...I hope:-)

uh oh...trouble. Sorry Lydia. And I like your variety of borders - kind of puts another element into the mix though -

Erm,,,,...Lydia this aint a wall. Yes prints on walls look fine in a frame but here on a backlit monitor they are just a distraction. The frames can also mask the inefficiency in the picy taking by making it look presented & complete. The wideness of the white border here being backlit does the picy no favours at all. Anyhow you like it so end of story...............You will grow out of it:-)

I just like a 'framed' print on my wall, Penny. I have actions I've made that put them on with one click. It's just a preference. ~Lydia

OK. Back to the border - why do you think your photos don't look (or sound) "finished" until surrounded with a border? This might be a good time to ask because you have the two photos here that are quite similar. Please don't take offense at my question because I'm really just curious to know what you think. If you want to respond in the forum, that would be okay too.

You all do realize that the entry is of my son and the one I put of 'myself' wakeboarding in the comments below here is a PS version of another shot of the same son with my head PSd on it, right? I did a really bad/sloppy job of PSing the head on to make sure you all knew it was a joke. But, now I wonder.
I don't wake board. I ride and photograph. Makes everyone happy. *grin* ~Lydia

I think Lydia is a bloke & he puts socks down his jumper to make two bulges...........Never fooled me:-)
ctfchallenge27-Jun-2008 03:15
but why were you wearing his clothing (or were you?) - don't tell.

Wow reading all the comments, this is indeed a winner.
Now a silly question, if that is you, 'who' took the picture?
ctfchallenge27-Jun-2008 02:03
Those are my biceps, Rod. You should SEE my abs! ~Lydia
Rod 27-Jun-2008 01:26
You have great abs Lydia:-)

What? You say it looks like one of my kids? No way! ~Lydia

Great spray, pose, and facial expression in this action shot Lydia - now we want a self portrait from you doing this! :-D
No voices for me - better be careful who you say that to Lydia or I think they'll be coming for you with a straight jacket! :-D CJ
ctfchallenge26-Jun-2008 12:56
LOL! Thanks, Rod. I have to have a border. They all scream at me for one while I'm saving... I can't bear the noise until I put one on.

Does anyone else hear voices?? ~Lydia
Rod 26-Jun-2008 07:06
Excellent action picy Lydia & well done on your more moderate border:-)
ctfchallenge25-Jun-2008 23:20
Thanks, iso and angio. If you don't like this one, I have a few hundred more I can try. *grin*
We're having much fun on our vacation! :) ~Lydia

Good catch. You've timed it well. Lots of spray, pose and concentration all add up to a fine action image.
