Thanks Penny, Troy & Tom. Tom, it was the lightning that "exposed" the clouds. It was totally dark except for the car lights, until it snapped. Troy, I always feel lucky if I get one in 10 shots of lightning ":^) Cheers, -mikey

Nice capture. I tried doing something like this the other night when it was lightning and producing 3" dia. hail. They did not turn out.

Nice Mikey. The long exposure gives up some fantastic shapes and movement in the clouds. -tv

Thanks Doug. This isn't "my" view, tho. I had to drive around the block and park on the East side of the block ":^) It is that T-storm time of year, a! Cheers, -mikey

Well done Mikey. I enjoyed the same light show without your great view. -COAmature

Thanks, Debi & Angioman. The "UFO" is two cars going either direction, passing each other. I was lucky to get this. I took about 30 shots and only got two keepers. For this one, I saw the headlights coming off in the distance and hit the shutter button when I thought the timing would work. The taillights and the lightning strike (didn't see them coming) appeared just when they were "supposed to", hehe. This was a huge storm; about 20 miles off, at this point. It dropped about an inch of rain on us as it went over. Thanks again for commenting. Cheers, -mikey
