Thanks Tom and Brent! Yes, this is in MN and with the 1000 fires going in CA, I'm really glad we are here now! CJ

I think I'm losing it.. I leave a comment and days later it is gone. Probably just age... forgetting to click the "Add Comment" button before moving on. Anyway, as I "said" before, this shot is full of surprises that seem to grow as the brain lets them register. At first it didn't seem like animal behavior but a wooden something falling into the water, the tails somehow attached to the pier. The double arc of the otters is opposed by the shape of the boat that visually adds force to their downward dive. -tv

Very fun CJ and nicely composed too. They do seem to be quite camera shy. Was this near your CA or MN home? I expect you will be spending the summer in MN again this year?
