hmmmm. I was thinking he looked a slight bit tired, but was afraid to say that. Now knowing he was just giving a performance, maybe he really is.

CJ, Penny, Tv, Jano - thank you for your comment. This gentlemen is a gamelan musician. I shot this picture during performance. It was interesting interesting how he was playing complicated music being in his thoughts far far away. This gamelan music is very interesting kind of music - at first glance sounds primitive and monotonously but the more you here the more fascinating you find it

Yes, his expression is a puzzle....not happy or sad or anything really, maybe a little perturbed about something, but it's hard to tell what he might be thinking. Interesting portrait! :-) CJ
