Penny, there's a different screen for each color, and a worker spreads the paint across the screen with a squeegee for each one. It's a pretty labor-intensive process, as they have to be sure the screens are perfectly aligned.

Those are the screens with paint spread on them. This unit can do six-color silkscreening. The t-shirt they're working on (seen at the top) remains stationary, and then the various screens are rotated around to have the colors squeegeed onto it.
