Thanks Tommy:-) This is electric welding wiv an electrode. Mind you the picy has been through PS wiv curves & sharpening so the colours are not as natural as the slide. I did develop my own Ektachrome slides back then so you could be right.

I wonder what the color temp of that torch is - higher than sunlight? The colors seem cool, more like Ektachrome. The scan looks good though. -tv

Thanks Aamm, Angio & RK:-) Yes me picys were better back then Aamm as I put more effort in. I'm hoping I can start putting more effort in now wiv me new gear. This was taken on Kodachrome 11 slide film 25 ASA or ISO RK. I have a now getting old HP 5370C flatbed scanner that has an attachment for scanning film or slides. It's nowhere near as good as a dedicated film scanner as I gets lots of scanning noise in darker areas. I've just burnt the noise in to black on this picy but the brighter parts of picys look OK. I think with the film the BHs don't look as harsh as they do on digital, I have adjusted the contrast etc on this picy which makes the BHs worse looking than on the original scan. One day I would like to get a film scanner & get some decent scans of my film picys.

Rod, assuming this was captured using film... how did you scan it. I keep coming back to it... there is something about this picture thats not digital. - RK
