Thanks girls:-) Kikis right Penny it hasn't been flipped it's as it was. Glad this is growing on you as it's my favourite of the the three I've posted. Yes Kiki upload the Dreamer picy & we can fight it out:-)

It isn't flipped.. the flower still stretch from right to left :)
Nice play with negatives, Rod. Just like my "Dreamer" pic ;) I should upload again and compete with this.

(I should also learn the difference between left and right.. this comment is updated.)

I didn't like this the first, second, third, times I looked but it's gaining interest somehow. I like the way the little black bud is peeking up. and the white on white (that isn't quite that). and the sharpness of the white on black. That, plus knowing you wouldn't post a bad photo - so - I've changed my mind.

Thanks Neo mate:-) I see wot you mean as this picy has to be read from right to left a:-)

Good job Rod. Way to take a girly shot and make it manly.
* For some reason I want a horizontal flip so that the flower will face in the other direction. Maybe it's just me or maybe it is a northern hemisphere thing...you know like how our water swirls the wrong way in the toilet.

Thanks Tommy:-) You give great meaning to this humble little picy:-) Thanks mate.

This looks close to normal for you as a luver of the full range gray scale. At first I didn't like the flower melting into the white bg, but suddenly the "melting" took on a new meaning of an escape from the black. The little bud looks like it's craning its neck out of the black abyss to gasp for clean air. -tv

Thanks Carole:-) Itsa bit high contrast to how I like to expose but you know me, I'm so subtle:-)

Lovely Rod, but is it high contrast (it would be for me!) or just a normally well exposed picy according to some others here! ;-D CJ

Super job, Rod! This is a terrific shot! I love the sharpness, yet soft feel, balance and the simplicity of the subject. This is a classic. Cheers, -mikey
