Thanks Lydia, Jano and Penny. To rid the picture of haze and bring out the texture I did have to play around with PP a bit, but nothing out of the ordinary, just levels, contrast, and USM. Since I only have Photoshop Elements, I don't have Curves or all those neat filters to try out on this. :-) CJ

You have captured well what many of us have tried to do before - good job!

This is a cool shot with the blue wing contrasting with the background terrain. jano

Cool shot, Carole! I've been in airplanes a bit and have never seen the earth look like that... always thought those relief maps were weird 'cause it didn't really look like that. Now, I sit corrected. Cool colors and good composition. ~Lydia

Thanks Tom! I wasn't sure any of my shots would turn out as the window was dirty and it was pretty hazy too. The camera did a good job of focusing on the terrain and not the spots on the window! :-) CJ.

Nice shot Carole. Good contrast even through an aircraft window. (I've tried so often.) The weather worn patterns of the terrain even as contrasted with the tarnished engine cowling somehow agree with one another. -tv
