This was at the EAA AirVenture Fly-in that makes Oskosh the busiest airport in the world for that week. They have fine air shows every day. Part of the war bird show is a mock bombing run with the pyrotecnics as shown. I used the backdrop to catch this shot of Riff Raff, a modified Sea Fury owned by Mike Keenum of the Chicago area. It is raced at the Reno Air Races each year, piloted by Robert "Hoot" Gibson, a former NASA astronaut and veteran of 5 shuttle missions.
