Very good composition. I like how you play with the focus. The OOF cat emphasizes the threat. BTW I prefer this version by far.

I was just whining- if I have a fish in a dish I will put it up - Debi

Thanks bunches!
I moved this to Exhibition, Debi. Please post your "Fish and Dish" in Eligible. ~Lydia

Great cat and fish - colors bright and clear.

Just a fish in a dish would have been a bit boring. Adding the hungry looking cat was genius. -COAmature

Cute shot Lydia. lol jano

I'm sorry, Debi. Please feel free to do yours, too. I don't own the concept. *grin* Before I proceed, you aren't considering "teddy bear with a mare", are you? *smile*

Oddly enough... I had Frank, the fish, in the crystal dish and had taken six million photos of him (named by my son who went to get him for me, Penny). I was growing rather frustrated at not being able to get what I wanted from him. He kept going to the back of the glass and not the front.
Someone had been eating chips in my computer area and left that Meow Mix cat food clip lying near where I was working (we never used it for cat food). So, I stuck it in on a lark.
Thanks for your kind words. ~Lydia

I think I much prefer this to the one in pending because of what the contrast does to the fish. Here, the fish looks happier (although I don't know how he could be with that face staring at him). Who picked the name Frank?

I didn't see earlier versions, but this looks pretty darn good Lydia. I think you got the fuzzy focus on the cat just right.

Lydia, I like this one better. More natural looking to me. Good idea.

This is the second time you are doing this. I had told my hubby to get a fish from the market today. Great pic _ i love the cat - where do you get the props? - Debi

BTW I like this one better as the cat stands out too much in the other one.

Interesting... two totally different opinions... (Thanks for them, though!) Actually, the one I REALLY like is in Pending. I'm put off by prior attitudes toward heavy PS... so am not bold enough yet to post it here instead. What's your opinion, please? ~ Lydia

Excellent setup Lydia. This one works for me where the other was a yawn. -tv

Me think I likes the other one better....
