Back to the subject - I really like this picture of the stringy mops. However droopy they are, they do not remind me of old people. Good job, Konstantin.

Now, you have made two mops with strings and things stand out... i mean, whoever would have thought to shoot this and make it look good to boot? You made something ordinary and not an ordinary subject worth looking at with some imagination and creativity, which is what this challenge is all about. Well done, and good for you to stand up to the challenge. Well done! jano

Plenty of detail as it's very sharp. Well lit with a bit of burning around the edges. Well done making mops look good. -COAmature

Everybody,
thanks a lot for your friendly support ! Without your help I did have no chances to create a suitable title (even just easy one, I don’t speak about “perfectly precariously perched" stuff !).

Lydia's subliminally suggesting moppy onomatopoeia as well.. like the slapping sounds of wet mops on the floor. Anyway I like the image with delicately clinging intertwining strands - like hands of old married people. -tv

Lydia, I have a feeling we are all going to be learning alot from this challenge.

I like "Strings and Things". A cool shot. It takes an artist to make a shot of mops work. :) Well done. (BTW, words that start with the same letters in a string like "perfectly precariously perched" is an alliteration. Your "word for the day". *smile* ) ~Lydia

Talk about confusing people Hanging by Handles doesn't rhyme either Brent:-)
ctfchallenge29-Feb-2008 20:22
"young at heart" - concentrate on that, Brent. And rhyming can be fun for all ages!

I guess you are right Penny, "Mops and Mildew" doesn't rhyme- what was I thinking? I guess those with children or grandchildren or who were recently a child themself might have an advantage here. The last time I read any rhyming books, etc. was reading to my niece who is now grown up and married.

Am I missing something - mops and Mildew don't rhyme, do they?
and now... still thinking about this one...... what rhymes with monkey?

"Mops and Mildew", "Gobs of Swabs", "Hanging by Handles"? I kind of like Penny's suggestion "Strings and Things".

If they were dripping wet, you could call it "Mops and Drops."

Not sure if the title is on topic but I like the light and exposure here.
