Unusual but very interesting concept. Works fine for me.

Thanks! This was fun to try to figure out.
Doug, it's a combination of two decks... already merged for a game called "Yuck 'n Puck"... a rhyme in itself. :) ~Lydia

Lydia, I love the off-beat concept, the colours and the placement here. Julie

Like I said before - you do know how to create a situation perfectly. Nice one, Lydia
I, too, like this better than the original.

Thanks, aam. I do think that technique is bettered with learning. I think composition or 'the eye' is sometimes 'natural', but that also can be learned by experience and feedback even if one can't 'see' it naturally. ~ Lydia

And some say talent can be learned. Yeah right. I tell you, Lydia is a natural.

Thanks for your help. I've re-shot it now... less red. If it's too much of a difference to use the Replace Image instead of deleting and re-submitting, let me know. I'll pop it off and re-submit.

Is this better? Or should I give up on the whole concept? I like this one. *sigh* ~Lydia

You caught the vibrant color Lydia. I have a feeling we'll see this soon in exhibition and that you will have ten more shots replacing this one cause I know your imagination is going to run a wilder than this :) jano

I agree,
it's not as good as the shot from me:-) Rhyming Rodney.

Too many frames for me here. The overwhelmingly red "frame" subverts the rest into a visually perplexing melange. Better to lose it and focus on the essence within the black. -tv
