It is metal, art-deco facade - the building is actually an add on to the Chrysler building (and the windows do make it even more interesting). I'm not sure which buildings comprise the shadows.

those shadows are a clever way of lending to the topic Penny. I remember a different perspective of this building from another challenge and find it very interesting. I assume it has a tile facade, but it looks like metal- so what the heck is covering that building? Very nicely done.
