good tips Lydia - I'll add masking tape to the list!...claire

Make it glass, Claire. Every scratch will show on plastic and it scratches easily. I had a broken frame around... threw the frame away (it was plastic made to look like wood anyway) and use the glass from it. I put masking tape around the edges after cutting myself with several little cuts while washing it the first time.

Thank you, Rod, Sue Ann, Doug, and Troy! ~Lydia

you're still pushing me towards buying that sheet of glass/plastic arent you?! It seems its essential photography equipment. Hey if it helps create shots like you have lately - I'm buying!! claire

It's on clear glass, Carole, above a colorful rug. ~Lydia

Nice reflections in the yolk Lydia, and the "white" almost looks metallic here! What did you put the egg on to take this - a mirror? CJ

Feel free to put yours up, Debi. An egg isn't the same in a different setting. (Unlike a rose... is a rose... is a rose...) *smile* ~Lydia
