If the title were not "the hand" [which can be seen in its entirety] but something different then it seems on topic. I am made curious about what else is there amidst the clutter

I had this down as off topic in the main thread but I'm not so sure now. There's no obvious focal point on the hand so the arm may be considered to be cut off & thereby on topic. The busy nature of the picy too might be helping with this. ...........Bugger it if Claire ses it's OK then who am I to argue:-)
