This is a terrific off topic picy, in fact it's the best off topic picy yet, well done Julie:-) What we are after is a composition that ses a part thereof in a visible sense. Here I see the whole of something visually even though at one time in the past it was a part of something else. You would have to crop this down the left or right third to bring it on topic........................or bugger it off to Pending:-)

This is scanned on a flatbed scanner. The object is placed on the platen and is covered by a box which is black on the inside. The box is about the same length and width as the platen, but quite deep, so no focus occurs on the box itself. Lessen the light, increase the contrast slightly and clone out the white dust spots which almost always occur and the clarity of image is satisfying. Julie
