My initial tho't when seeing the thumbnail [and ignoring the title] was that the "part" was of the entire desk top. Titling it Mickey's clock puts it into two "parts thereof" slots for me
Thanks Rod, aam1234, I tried leveling it before I posted but with all the horizontal lines it seemed out of kilter the other way. You notice the bottom drawer is level. I suppose the best idea would have been to split the difference. d.tallakson

Wish it was leveled. Excellent light here.

You're possibly right Gerry but somehow without the clock the watch & car may hold it back from being a part thereof picy, from the viewers perspective.
I think if we ignore the clock we probably still have part of a bureau to keep it on topic. Or am I wrong? :) -mcbit

You're doing really well in this challenge as I've really had to think about whether your shots are on topic. Even though the title tells us it is but I tend to not let titles influence wot me eyes are telling me. My eyes are telling me after some viewing that the clock is the dominant focal point here, only just but it is. Very clever use of light to make the clock against all intuition the focal point. Another goodun mate, well done.
