Techo Rip Off

I know I know, you all like Techo's shot better but unlike him I used real ice in 30C heat & had to work fast under extreme pressure. Techo used plastic ice from the joke shop & tap water so he could take all day to get his picy. Shooting real ice is a mans job:-)

I've always wanted to do this pic, so much so that I bought a torch light and kept a blue candy wrapping. Maybe for another challenge.

Debi I just used a little torch & a blue LED & just illuminated the ice for part of the exposure in a darkened room.

The poor ice looks woebegone - I had thought about this one too- but dropped it as its tooo cold here for ice ( and I dont have the light) - Debi

I sat and contemplated this photo and decided it was impossible. Now I know it's not.
Ice is so cool (that's not a pun). Someday I'll get braver.
