Shot at the same time as the previous image, this was a test of the digital zoom on this camera. If I remember correctly (old age setting in) I was at 48x and this is a full frame uncropped image. Just downsized for the gallery.

Thanks Lydia, I must have changed my setting for jpeg saves in photoshop. I changed it but if it's dq'd that's ok as there are a lot of better shots here! Kevin

Gherkin? Like a pickle? LOL! Does he eat them? Looks like a bit lotion is in order for his hands. LOL. BTW, this image is a bit oversized. I don't think it will make it to voting unless it's resized. sigh ~Lydia

Ok thanks CJ, I was holding back on enhancements as I'm not sure how our pix look on others monitors. I didn't touch this one...yet I'll take a crack at it at home as that Mac is set up a bit better than the one I'm on at work right now. Kevin

Cute bird Kevin - great colors! This might benefit from a little editing, maybe levels, contrast and a little unsharp mask, but a great closeup of Gherkin! What a funny name too! :-) CJ

This one seems best for overall sharpness. The light coming behind the bird is also nice. jano
