When you build bridges you can keep crossing them

Stockholm, Sweden

© 2007 Jonas Svedberg

A fast shot, saw the runner coming and had maybe 2 sek to get the camera up and focus.
The time/aperture was almost right choosen. (Always shoot manual.) (Please give me my RAW back!)

=)

Welcome to the challenges Jonas!
You have started with a wonderful entry here. Very nicely composed and placement of subject. The juxtaposition of the HUGE bridge support with the tiny human figure is wonderful. Also wonderful is contrast of the bright sky to the dark bridge undersurface! Great entry!

The colour comes from rust mixed as pigments. And ONE segment of this hyper designed rail/pedestrian brige costs as much to build as a whole regular bridge. (You can see the joints of one segment just under the pillar.)

Very nice looking underside to the bridge. I guess since you have the wind and weather, you have to finish the undersides of your big bridges to make them last longer. John

Great perspective and the image really emphasizes the immense size of that bridge. CJ
