Thanks Cat this is a bit colder than its supposed to be. We normally have long hot summers, mild winters and not much rain. A great many of the buildings are pre-Soviet 19th century and 'Grand' built on the first of the big oil money. When I came here in '99 it was a mess but the government is spending a lot of money restoring the city to its former splendour using the latest big oil money. :-)

Thanks for a glimpse into the life in your city. Looks like a pretty historic town with tall sandstone and riverstone buildings. It also gives a fair idea about the weather there. Sunny but cold. You got a great dynamic range here.
