Thanks K2, Mary Anne and Cat. In Australia, it is quite common to see hand-designed paving slabs like this, especially in parklands. In most cases, the pavers are made on the same day by many people in a community art event, as a way of including the general public in the creation of an art work. Many school grounds are paved in this way by the children attending the school. It is good to go back years later and revisit your artwork. Julie

Nice textures indeed! The leaf adds a presences of life and brings one back to this world from the background world of memories.

Wonderful texture and details here. Is there a story behind these bricks? They look as if they could have been made by many different people.

Oh my.. what a "background"! Do people actually walk on those bricks?
Perfect exposure and colors, very nice image.

I'm so glad this was just a leaf - from the thumbnail, I first thought it was a bird. Nice bricks. - Kelly
