Rules broken:
Rule of focusing on main subject.
Also broken: any rule of sticking faithfully to a proper white-balance.
Why broken?
Because water reflections tend to steal focus. This shot was a mishap but I liked it, and the light in it. So instead of deleting, I took a stab at enhancing the water textures.
Colors are tweaked and exaggerated to bring out the pinkish/purplish hue of that morning. The waves/billows are smoothened, sharpened and curve adjusted. But the swan itself is only color-tweaked, in an attempt to keep a hint of its light elegance.
