Corn Dog

Rule: Avoid reflections in glass.
How & Why: I strategically opened blinds behind me (and the camera) in order to ADD reflections in the fireplace glass. I did this to hide the distracting wall on the other side of the see through fireplace and to avoid my own reflection.

Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi
1/50s f/1.8 at 50.0mm iso800 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Nice picture, good strategy, nice vibrant colors.

Good one Doug. I would crop both feet to put his head squarely on the third line. It wouldn't lose impact and would look on purpose. Opening the blinds behind you to overpower your own reflection is genius. John

Thanks for the comments guys. Glad I'm not reading them in pending. Josh doesn't read yet but I am teaching him to look at the pictures. No excuse for the missing foot. I feel shame for which I should be punished. -Doug

Very nice picy Doug, well done. Kelly I think he's reading A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawkings:-) He's brighter than his Dad:-)

Good reasoning. I'd like to see you peddle your way out of the rule you broke about chopping off feet! LOL! THAT I won't buy. ;) Cute shot. Qualified ~ Lonnit

Very handsome portrait of little 'corn dog' son and the reflections work for me.
