Seeing Sharon holding her box, I thought how it looked
like a drawer. I have drawers, I thought! Voila!

The suggestive stance makes the picture. Brave shot Lonnit. I like it. -COAmature

I could NEVER wear those stocking! (legs too short)... but they are marvelous on you. Well done using the drawers for back drop. jano

Calm down, boys! LOL! The stance, the composition, the lighting, the feel of the image, were all designed to fall within that edgier realm. Thanks for noting. :) ~ Lonnit

Legs welcomed here. The pidgion-toed stance goes well with the angle and irregular lighting. -tv

I guess that's a good thing? :) Out of curiosity... what makes them recognizable? ~ Lonnit

Thank, Lydia. There's no drastic PPing here. The image has not been cropped at all, I cloned out a little pink thing that was on the dresser next to my leg - it was distracting. I slightly burned in the left side of the red so it was darker like the right side. I ran an alien skin filter to bring up the color, and I gave a light pass of Lucis to increase the contrast, and that's it. The lighting was done in real-life, using an on camera flash as the master for fill, and a second flash, as a slave acting as the main light on camera left (you can see the shadow of legs it creates on the dresser). This created a natural vignetting, so I had no need to do my standard burned-in edges. Ok, that may seem like a lot of PPing steps, but it was just bringing out what was there. I will often use these same filters to extreme to get the same kind of look when the lighting really isn't right to start with. I've got to learn more about working with lights, b/c after all, the light right makes all the difference in the world. You can't have good photography without good light.

LOL, Lonnit. LOVE the stockings! You know... this would REALLY look good with some PSing... *grin* ~Lydia
