I agree Lydia about the chairs probably showing the change of seasons a bit better but I saw Hunter trying to get something from under the snow and thought how much easier it was for him to hunt in the summer and fall with no snow or ice around. Plus, we do love our pets don't we! ;-D CJ

I'm really glad to hear that this isn't CA. I wondered at the last photo... beach... CJ in CA... crazy... I like this, but the beach chair ones suits my fancy a bit better. ~Lydia

Thanks b.c. and Tom. Right now I'm in N. Minnesota which just got hit with a big snow storm. We'll be here a few more weeks and then head back to sunny California. Actually Hunter loves the cold weather and being a mix of Nordic breeds (Husky/Great Pyrenees), has a fur coat well equipped to handle the weather! :-) CJ

Carole, can you provide the location. "CJ in CA" and "ice" don't compute. To my eye, this is another gem of frigidity - I feel for the dog as he gingerly treads the icy shore. Brrrrr again.. -tv

Yes Doug, the ice comes and goes off the lake depending on the wind. Today it's gone with just a bit at the edge! :-) CJ
