So many Leading Lines

The trunk, each line of the grass... each pointing to the red leaves... Good Golly! It's a leading line frenzy! *grin*

Lovely image Lydia! Wish it was still fall here but these beautiful colors are long gone! Nice composition and complimentary colors. :-) CJ

This image brings forth a cheerfulness of a bright sunny morning. I think you captured that scene and feeling well. jano

I think you could call these lines and shapes "complimentary" as well as "leading". I find my attention snapping between the three major elements. Very nicely done, Lydia. Cheers, -mikey

Thank you RK, Tony, Shu, and Rod!
Tv... So now I'm confused. Is this good or bad -- "essentially flattened with vertical lines"? I have my own style?? That surprised (and pleased) me. I wouldn't have said I was that far along yet. Thanks for your thought into the matter of my photo, Tv. ~Lydia

Well you didn't really need to talk this shot on topic:-) When I first saw the thumbnail it struck me as off topic but I think the grass really helps to reinforce the tree trunk as a leading line. Nicely done Lydia:-) Plus the the shot looks just great.

Very, very pretty! (You don't need the entire tree to achieve the WOW factor!) shu

Certainly lovely, great autumn colors!

Neat variation on your style but still has your fingerprint of sharp foreground transitioning to the fuzzy to dissolving adjacent area or background, essentially flattened with vertical lines. Lovely autumn catch. -tv
