Thanks Bruce:-) We can never tell where the good picys are sometimes, I was parked doing some paperwork in my ute (small truck) & saw this out of the passenger window. I didn't even get out I just rolled the window down & put a longer lens on. I love sitting down shots:-)

Love the interplay between the random weeds and the pattern of the fence. Nice. -- Bruce

Thanks Jano & Mikey:-) As I take such manly shots Mikey I've found it pays to have something girly in there to maximise me vote:-)

Wot are those dainty, girly little things sticking thru that manly fence, eh? Hehe. Really, nice shot, Rod. Cheers, -mikey

This is a great example of what I think of as random vs rigid contrasting patterns and to me provides an almost musical experience. The repeating pattern of the fence are the power chords; the nail heads tripping along are the ride symbol; and the random weeds the lead guitars. This is the acoustic version. -tv

Hey Rod, taking a break from the 40D manual to check in.
Nice shot, in thumbnail it looks like a negative. I agree with tv about the random vs. rigid pattern, it's loosness makes it comfortable to look at.

Great piece of art Rod. I think this one is a keeper and should keep Mr. Pending at bay. -COAmature

Wow Tom - how do you come up with that stuff! ;-D Just kidding!

Rod, I like this fence ever so much better than the previous one - the repeating lines and nails look great and the ferny things add another pattern of their own and interest to the shot. CJ

Ha ha. Wanted to say it was a reverse chalk work but decided not to :) It's very cool though.
