Well done Jock, after all the shots I've had to ping for the subject being more dominant than the pattern you have done a shot where we can see all the subject. Wot makes this work so very well is the way you have lined up the thistle wiv the OOF background thistle making this a definite pattern shot. Great eye mate & thanks for showing us how to take a picy of a whole plant & still be on topic.
