Tom, Sorry if I had not been consistent, I certainly had not meant to offend anyone. I thought your chimpanzee picture was off topic because he was sitting on part of the frame of his cage, where as the orang-utang picture, he is sitting in somthing that has been specifically made to be somewhere for them to rest. I do realise that these are grey areas and it is difficult to decide what is on topic when hosting these challenges. Perhaps at the beginning of this challenge i was too strict. At the end of the day, these challenges are meant to be fun and I apologise. Its been a steep learning curve and now with some experience I will try to avoid this confusion happening in the future.

Sorry to hear of your off topic trouble. I was told two of mine didn't belong & they did leave a name. After explaining my case, they wouldn't budge. I pulled them, despite other similar pics that were praised by the same individual. Confusion seems to reign.

I don't know who said it was off topic (because you were not kind enough to leave your name) but the reflection is of a table "seat". Granted it is not the "top" of the seat. The seat is man-made of concrete and is designed to be sat on. It's just that the supports are partially under water as Mikey points out. I don't understand why this is not on topic. This challenge site still amazes me at to the rudeness that is expressed by some.
Thanks Mikey for the comment and confirmation at to my impression of the subject.
You should have titled this "Ducking the Seat", which if I'm not mistaken is in the reflection, yah? The posts are to support the picnic table. I think its a cool take on the topic. BTW, that makes it on topic and a pretty cool shot, at that, seems to me. Cheers, -mikey
