Well seen and composed B.C.! To me these chairs look somehow retro, like a 50's version of modern design.

thanks b.c I like the colour version with just subtle changes in colour and the seats do look like they're beech or sycamore! Maurice

thanks guys. Maurice - I converted this shot to B/W because I thought the original didn't look as interesting in colour. Over in the Pending gallery, I posted the colour version of the same shot - see what you think. Whether they're beech or not, you tell me :-)
Tom - also take a look at the extra shot I put in Pending, looking the other way. The design of the room is quite something - for that matter, the whole building is pretty amazing design. Quite controversial, too.

thanks again - b.c.

Good seeing :-)

This is very interesting. I would have never thought this was finished seating. Looked more like an assembly line or window display. Styles & designs outside the US are always way ahead.

Nice patterns and light, works well in B&W. It wood be interesting to see how it compares in colour, i'm assuming these chairs are beech.

It appears they all have the same congenital defects (scoliosis); or is it that they they are all right-leaning in their politics? -tv

No wonder parliament doesn't sit much as these look very uncomfortable...............especially if you're wearing a kilt:-)
