Sue Anne, I know what you mean about getting shakey when you witness an event like this. At least you have the photographs of the barn as it was. I've been taking photos of any barns I can find in our town in order to document them. A few have already been destroyed since I started doing that, so I feel as if I'm preserving a little piece of history.

Thanks --- yes it was both shocking and scary to see the fire. It burned down rather quickly but must of been burning for awhile til it burst into flames. Cause was electrical but sad thing, this was about a 100 old barn :(
Life goes on, history / memories.
At times, we can still smell the remains of the ashes... and then I remember it again.

It was the barn across the street :(
(so no more barns in my across the street landscapes....)
