thank you all.
K2 described all my intentions with this shot.
the basic concept and my current line-up (regarding lenses and lights) forced me in a way in to this type of aproach of "product photography", typical to the 80's of eastern europe.
white margins and the tight crop was all intentional, though I'm still not sure if it's a working concept.
best regards
tomi

This is broken right now. I hope you get to upload again before voting begins. Saw it earlier though, liked it a lot. Nice - shape(s), motif and PP. And an overall impression of 'modernistic surrealism', if there is such a thing. It looks impossible, an artists rendition of some physicist enigma. The white on the sides is just fine with me: The "missing" top and bottom borders match the overall spirit of the image, and make the horizontal lines in the photo all the more interesting.

I like this. Great idea and execution. But I don't understand the white margins on left and right. -tv

Great idea. Maybe show us a little more on top, er, bottom of the glass? -COAmature
