Thanks Barry and Maurice. No, I don't think I have a knack for it... but with years of practice perhaps I could get something as I've seen other do which are fantastic. The reason I ran with this one was because of the look of it... it intrigued me as something coming up from surface vs. a "drop". Anyways, thanks for commenting :) jano

Great colours and capture. I spent a whole evening trying to capture water droplets and never got anything as good as this!! you must have a knack for it! Great Image!

The effect you achieved makes the water look thick to me, like or oil something. Probably related to the long shutter speed. I like the overall effect very much however you did it! Well done!

Thanks Rod, Lee, CJ and Christina for commenting. Yes, this should have been a blur and I changed the shutter speed after figuring out my error. Surprisingly, this is the only one of the lot that really came out so I grabbed it and ran. Probably would be easier if I could figure out how to get the drops to drop without me dropping them and taking the picy at the same time lol... jano

This is really nice Jano. The colors are fantastic!

COAmature - I did a lot of water drops with my S1, so if I can, you can too! It's really just a matter of trial and error and error and error and error. Eventually you get the timing down.

Great color combo Jano! Wow, I can't believe this was 1.3s - I would have thought it would have ended up being one big blur! ;-) I'll have to try this some time - looks like fun! CJ

Looks nice & smooth, nicely done Jano. We don't seem to be getting any exif with your new shots.

Thanks for commenting CoAmature and CAT. Cat, I think the lines you spoke of were some banding issues due to the large crop as I do not yet have a macro lens and then adding some pp. I have tried to eradicate them and have reposted. I miss not having a macro lens so that may be next on my list, or second... (i have a long list) :) jano

Jano, I have put a copy in pending with 4 corners identified. Would be interesting to know the source of it. Please check. Eitherway its a lovely photo and a capture!

This is the first thing I thought of when I found out the subject. I tried and failed several times. Not sure if the problem was me or if my S2 just isn't the proper equipment for the job. Your picture is great! Love the idea to add to the image with underlying color. Fantastic job Jano. -COAmature

Thanks guys. Nothing superimposed at all... I'll have to check those lines you talk of CAT.... didn't really notice anything last nite. It's my first attempt at a droplet and I used a shallow dish for this to work so i don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. jano

I like the photo, but not sure if the crop works. Also I am noticing an unexplained rectangle, slightly faded, almost like some kind of superimposed piece, the side edges are touching the nearest wave ring and the top and bottom are touching 3rd wave ring.

Very nice Jano and I like the ring and drops achieved.
