Thank you for your comments, Doug and TV. I was of two minds about that leaf when I cropped the image...may still make some changes in it. I included the leaf because I liked the three vibrant colors and also the way the leaf continued the diagonal line to the bottom right corner.

I like how the bees make the flower look large. I like it with or without the green. I can see a point for removing it but I also like how it balances yellow and blue. -COAmature
This kept pulling me back to see that gorgeous sunflower, but something was wrong. Tonight after one martini and a couple of glasses of wine with my daughter leaving for college next week, it hit me.
