Thanks Rod, Maurice, Gerald and Abstract. This one was taken with a conventional camera. I placed the nautilus on a small light to achieve the effect. Later in Photoshop I added the sparkle to the centre with some dodge and burn. Julie

Thanks 1234, Jamdriver and Neo. I agree, you can't go wrong using a nautilus shell. I have used this shell to create many and varied images, each of which I like. The perfect mathematical principal displayed in the nautilus guarantees beauty. Julie

Lovely vivid yellow and it contrast nicely with the blues. The nautilus pattern is what really makes the image.
